Catrin is a poem written by Gillian Clarke and its about her daughter, Catrin and how she has instantly grown up. Gillian Clarke talks about how she feels and also, about her blood with her daughter. In Seamus Heaneys poem the confederate, he talks his relationship with his engender and how he would follow him near as a child. Seamus is today grown up and comments on how his let follows him around, in his octogenarian age. The attitude and relationships between find and daughter, bugger off and password are opposites. In Catrin the daughter is trying to gain independence, whereas in follower the son is trying to as wide-eyed(a) as incur and follow in his footsteps, hence the name Follower, Heaney is unceasingly adult the impression o f how good his father is at ploughing, an prototype of this is when he starts the second stanza with An expert this gives the idea of Heaney being actually move with his father and how he works.
